BNP has called for a roadmap for election preparation including reforming the Election Commission. They also said that no controversial person can come to the Reform Commission.

On Saturday (05 October) in the afternoon at the official residence of the Chief Adviser Jamuna the BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir gave this information after an hour and a half dialogue with Dr. Muhammad Yunus.

At the time, he said, there was no discussion about the date of election in the dialogue. We just asked for the roadmap. The interim government said that the election is its first priority.

He also said that apart from canceling the appointment of contract-based secretaries in the secretariat, I have talked about removing the people of the dictatorial government and appointing a neutral administration.

Besides, I have demanded the withdrawal of all false cases filed by Awami League from 2007 to 2024. I have called for attention to be given to how various people including former MP, Ministers are fleeing the country.

I have requested the Chief Adviser to hold talks with India to control the social media campaign that the alleged fascist Sheikh Hasina is running in India. In addition to this, we have also raised the issue of addressing this issue by uncovering the reasons for the situation that has arisen in the Chattogram Hill Tracts.
