CMC Principal Professor Dr. Jasim Uddin confirmed the punishment of the students.

College sources said that a committee was formed four months ago to investigate the students' disciplinary breach. The investigation found evidence of illegal entry into the hostel, illegal occupation of rooms, breach of promise, beating and involvement in terrorist activities and destroying the educational environment against these students.

A decision was taken at a meeting held on Sunday (October 27) in this regard to punish 86 people for various terms, including the expulsion of 75 students. This was informed at the academic council meeting on Monday.

75 students have been expelled for periods ranging from 6 months to 2 years, depending on the type of disciplinary violation. Bonds have been taken from the remaining 11 students.
