Waiver of tuition fees of students injured in the mass upsurge

The interim government has decided to waive the salaries and tuition fees of students injured in the anti-discrimination student-public movement.

The Ministry of Education gave this information in a notification on Tuesday (October 29). The ministry also informed in the notification what process should be adopted for the waiver of salaries and tuition fees.

The notification said that the government has decided to waive the salaries/tuition fees of students from secondary to university level (all government-private schools, colleges, madrasas, technical and universities) injured in the mass uprising of students and public in July-August 2024. The injured students will apply to the head of their respective educational institutions along with medical prescriptions in this regard.
