Shafiqul Alam, press secretary to the chief adviser to the interim government, said, ‘The Awami League is currently a fascist party. There is no chance of allowing this fascist party to hold any protest program in Bangladesh.’
He said this in a post on his verified Facebook page at 12:10 pm on Saturday (November 9).
Shafiqul Alam wrote, The Awami League in its current form is a fascist party.
Anyone who tries to hold a rally, gathering or procession on the orders of the genocidal and dictator Sheikh Hasina will face the full force of the law enforcement forces.’
The press secretary to the chief adviser also mentioned that the interim government will not tolerate any violence or any attempt to disrupt the law and order situation in the country.
It is worth noting that Sheikh Hasina's Awami League, which was ousted from power in a student-public uprising, has announced a protest march program on Sunday (November 10) in memory of Shaheed Nur Hossain and demanding the establishment of democratic rights. The program was announced on the Awami League's verified Facebook page on Friday night.
