All those who were in power in the past changed their own fate, there was no change in the fate of the people, said Chattogram North District Jamaat Ameer Muhammad Alauddin Sikder. He said, ‘No more workers will be exploited in Bangladesh. Workers must be given their rights back. Otherwise, all working people will struggle against terrorism and extortion under the leadership of the Workers Federation. The wrongdoers will be expelled from the country’s politics through movement and struggle. Those who were in state power in the past could not ensure the rights of the people, could not change the destiny. They only changed their own destiny. Because they were corrupt, terrorists and wealth smugglers. Therefore, if honest and competent leadership can be established in Bangladesh in the future, then the destiny of the people of the country will change. Along with this, all kinds of discrimination will be eliminated.’

He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at a workers’ rally organized by the Bangladesh Workers’ Welfare Federation Fatikchhari Thana branch at a community center in Fatikchhari Upazila Sadar on Saturday (November 9) evening. Earlier, hundreds of workers from different areas of the upazila joined the rally in separate processions since the afternoon.

Alauddin Sikder said, there has been a change of power repeatedly in 53 years. Different parties have come to power at different times. They have come to power by using these workers as a ladder, but after coming to power, they have tarnished the rights of the workers. Many have come to power by using them without giving fair rights to the workers. But they have not given the rights to the workers. We want to build Bangladesh as a state without all kinds of discrimination. We request the workers’ brothers and the workers’ leaders. Let us ensure the rights of the workers wherever we work in whatever sector.

President of the Fatikchhari Upazila branch of the Workers’ Welfare Federation Md. Nazim Uddin Emu presided over the rally, with Chattogram Metropolitan Jamaat Secretary and Organization Adviser Principal Muhammad Nurul Amin as special guests, and the main speaker was the Central Joint Secretary General of the Workers' Welfare Federation Muhammad Lutfar Rahman.

The main speaker Muhammad Lutfar Rahman said that it will be possible to restore the fair rights of the workers by establishing Islamic labor policies. The Workers' Welfare Federation works to realize the rights of the workers. The hard-working workers of this organization will not give in to those who think of looting in the name of the organization.

Chattogram City Jamaat Secretary Principal Muhammad Nurul Amin said that the relationship between the owner and the worker should be such that there is no discrimination between the owner and the worker when they stand in the same row during prayers. This is what Islam teaches us. Islam wants a society where all people in the society will get their fair share.

He further said, if Jamaat-e-Islami comes to power, poverty will be eliminated within 10 years, For this, honest people need to rule those who will not launder money abroad or steal. We want such a just and fair society without discrimination where people of all religions will be safe. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is working to build that society.
