The cold winter chill is gradually increasing in the northern district of Nilphamari. Along with this, dew drops are accumulating on the grass tips in the dense fog in the morning. The record low temperature indicates that winter is approaching.

The Syedpur Airport Meteorological Office said that the temperature in the district was recorded at 15.6 degrees Celsius at around 6 am on Sunday (November 17). Due to dense fog, flight operations at Syedpur Airport were also disrupted.

Meanwhile, the temperature in the northern district of Panchagarh has dropped further compared to yesterday. The first-class meteorological observatory office recorded the lowest temperature in the district at 6 am today at 15.6 degrees Celsius. The previous day, 17 degree Celsius was recorded on Saturday morning.

According to the report sent by the representatives, there has been light fog in Nilphamari and Panchagarh in the morning for the past few days, but on Sunday, the entire district was suddenly covered in dense fog. Even though the sun rises in the morning, the nature is covered in a light mist. The white dew of the morning is swaying on the tips of the green grass. Dew droplets are falling like raindrops. Farmers are seen trampling down the dew and going to work. Preparations for Navanna are being made in every house in Bangladesh around winter.

Locals said that the degree of cold is gradually increasing. The chill of winter is being felt in the cold northern wind since evening. After midnight, it is necessary to bear the brunt of the cold until dawn. The force of winter is greater from mid-November to February.
