ICT orders to complete the investigation against Sheikh Hasina by December 17

The International Crimes Tribunal has ordered the investigation against former Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina to be completed by December 17 in the case filed in connection with the massacre of students and the people during the July-August movement.
On Monday (November 18), the tribunal gave this order after hearing the case of genocide.
After the hearing of the genocide case on Monday (November 18), the chairman of the tribunal,  headed by Justice  Ghulam Mortuza Majumder passed the order.
Meanwhile, the trial of 13 people including 9 ministers arrested for their involvement in July-August genocide and crimes against humanity has started today at the International Crimes Tribunal. At around 10:50 a.m. on this day, the accused were brought to the court from the jail. Later, the hearing of the complaint against them started around 11:00.
Earlier, they were brought to the tribunal from Keraniganj Central Jail in a prison van around 10 am. This is the first of the 46 people whose arrest warrants were issued to be brought before the tribunal on charges of crimes against humanity.
