To prevent the rehabilitation of fascism and resolve the ongoing unrest in educational institutions, Hasnat Abdullah, convener of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, has announced to observe 'National Student Solidarity Week' for the next week in coordination with all anti-fascist student organizations.

On Monday (November 25) night, the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement held an emergency meeting with all student organizations at Bangla Motor in the capital. He made this announcement after the meeting.

Hasnat Abdullah said, "For the past few days, we have been seeing various conspiracies going on to rehabilitate Awami fascists. Even at the same time, various institutional movements have started. People wearing lungis as students are also coming and beating up students, whom anyone can understand just by looking at them. We have seen that the Chhatra League has also incited the rickshaw pullers' movement and tried to create a violent situation." So today, all the student organizations have agreed that we will observe the 'National Student Solidarity Week' for next week.

He said, in the last 16 years of misrule, the Awami League has emptied the country's banks by laundering money. As you know, even an MP has more than 300 houses abroad. We all agreed in today's meeting that all the assets of those MPs and ministers should be confiscated as soon as possible. We see that even sitting abroad; they have continued various conspiracies against the country. If all their assets are not confiscated, they will continue to conspire in this way and will create various chaos one after another. Therefore, we demand from the government that measures should be taken to confiscate their assets as soon as possible.

Hasnat said, the season of demands movement that is going on in Bangladesh has extensive funding from the Awami League. The Awami League cannot be allowed to be rehabilitated in any format. Zero tolerance to Awami League.

The meeting, led by the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, was attended by Chhatra Dal Central Organizing Secretary Amanullah Aman, Dhaka University (DU) Chhatra Dal President Ganesh Chandra Roy Sahas, DU Islami Chhatra Shibir Secretary SM Farhad, Swadhin Bangladesh Chhatra Sansad President Jamaluddin Mohammad Khalid, Islamic Shasantantra Central Secretary General Muntasir Ahmed, Organizing Secretary Imran Hossain Noor and Public University Secretary Khairul Ahsan Marjan, Bangladesh Chhatra Odhikar Parishad Central President Bin Yamin Molla, Secretary Nazmul Hasan, Chhatra Federation President Mashiur Rahman Khan Richard and Secretary Saikat Arif, among others.

Convener Hasnat Abdullah, Chief Organizer Abdul Hannan Masud and Spokesperson Umama Fatema were present on behalf of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.
