Foreign Affairs Adviser Md. Towhid Hossain said, we want good relations with all countries on the basis of equality. This government is working towards that goal.
He said these things at a view-exchange meeting with all upazila-level officials and stakeholders at the Belabo Upazila Conference Room in Narsingdi on Saturday (December 14) afternoon.
The Foreign Affairs Adviser said, we have given a clear message to India that we want good relations, but it should be based on equal interests of both sides. We have been given responsibility in a special situation in the student-public movement. After some special reforms, we will hand over power to politicians through fair and impartial elections. They will run the country. However, you also have to take responsibility so that students do not have to take to the streets again so that the lives of boys and girls do not fall again.
