The fire at the Loveline restaurant in Uttara, the capital, was brought under control after about 3.5 hours. The fire was brought under control with the efforts of 12 units of the fire service.
On Friday (December 20), Fire Service Media Cell Officer Anwarul Islam Dolan confirmed this information and said that the fire was brought under control at 2:02 pm. Heavy smoke was generated in the building after the fire. As a result, the fire service workers had to work quickly to control the fire. The extent of the damage was not initially known.
Meanwhile, the fire service rescued seven people who were trapped on top of the restaurant building due to the fire. Six of them were employees of a beauty parlor.
Earlier, the fire broke out at Loveline restaurant at around 10:38 am.
