Dhaka, (Barta24.com): A discussion meeting titled, ‘ the contribution of Islamic religious leaders in the great liberation war’ and ‘win prize writing letter to the prophet’ competition was held on Saturday (March 23) afternoon at Jatiyo Press Club(JPC) organized by Our Islam Twenty four dotcom. Top Islamic thinkers, Alems –Ulamas, writers-journalists and political leaders were present.
The discussion was chaired by the Chief Editor of Our Islam Twentyfour Mufti Muhammad Aminul Islam.
Islamic Foundation deputy director Dr. Mowlana Mushtaq Ahmed said that writing letters to the holy prophet is an excellent matter. Our scholars also have written letters the prophet. There is love in each line and when we touch that letter our heart renders only love for the prophet.
Mentioning the role of the Islamic scholars in the liberation war he told that our Alems have much contribution in the liberation war which needs elaborate discussion. Expressing his indignity to a class of leftists, he said that they do not admit the fact which is not at all expected.
In the discussion meeting Chief Guest was president of parliamentary standing committee of Chattogram Hill Tract Ministry RAM Ubaidul Muktadir Chowdhury MP. In his speech he said that the great the great prophet Hazrat Muhammad Rasulullah(SM) was sent to this world for the emancipation of mankind. He is Rahmatul Alamin.
He said that I am involved with Our Islam family from the very beginning. Insha Allah I will with it in future also. Our Islam has organized competitions of writing letters to the prophet and it is a good initiative. This will create awareness among the youth to learn the prophet and to know about Him. Practically in following the ideals of the prophet would help our society drug free.
Eminent writer Mowlana Muhammad Zainul Abedin expressing surprise said that without Islamic scholars how the history of freedom struggle is written. Now the Islamic scholars have advanced much ahead. This discussion about the contribution of the Islamic scholars is the demand of the time. People should learn the contribution of the scholars in the liberation war.
