Dhaka, (Barta24.com): Indian popular film actor Sanjoy Dutta made a courtesy call to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhavan on Thursday (March28).
After Sanjoy’s meet, the famous actor of “Munna Bhai MBBS”, the press secretary of Prime Minister Ehsanul Karim briefed the waiting journalists. Ehsanul Karim told that Sanjoy had earlier visited Bangladesh as a member of an Indian cultural delegation immediate after the Independence.
At that time Sanjoy’s father famous actor Sunil Dutta turned politician, legendary singer Lata Mungeshkar and famous actress Wahida Rehman also were in the delegation. They met with Bangabandhu and his family. Some group photographs of that visit and meeting with Bangabandu and his family were presented to Sheikh Hasina.
Ehsanul Karim also said that the Prime Minister while meeting Sanjoy mentioned the unambiguous support of India during our liberation war.
Information Minister Dr. Hassan Mahmud and Prime Minister’s Private sector affairs adviser Salman F. Rahman were present at that time.
It is to be mentioned here that Sanjoy Dutta has reached Dhaka on Thursday noon to unveil the logo of Bangabandhu Golf Cup Open 2019 beginning from April 3.
