Dhaka,(Barta24.com): Housing & Works Minister SM Rezaul Karim has informed that Rajdhani Unnyan Kotripakkha (RAJUK) would be available in on line to make it people friendly from May 1.
He said that Bangladesh is now passing through digital system at that time why an organization like Rajuk will lag behind. It will be made digitalized and the people will get digital service. No file will be missing or pending in Rajuk office henceforth, he said.
He disclosed this while holding a directional meeting with the officials of Housing & Works ministry and Rajuk in view of the situation arising out of F.R. tower fire accident. The Minister said that Investigation teams were given terms of reference of their work to identify the illegal buildings having not fulfilled the safety measures particularly during the fire safety.
The meeting was attended among others by Housing & Works ministry secretary Shahidullah Khondoker, Chief Engineer of Works directorate Md. Shahadat Hossain, Chief Architect Md. Rshidul Islam and Rajuk chairman Abdur Rahman.
