Dhaka, (Barta24.com): A report of Asian Development Bank (ADB) published in ‘Asian Development Outlook’ (ADO) has pointed out that the economic growth of Bangladesh will attain eight percent, highest economic growth in Asia and Pacific region.
In the report it has been told that strong private investment, enhanced government participation, increase in export and due to the expansion of industries and commerce this economic growth would be attained.
ADB hopes that though there will be no remarkable progress in global economy still due to favorable condition, Bangladesh will reach this economic feat. The policy of preserving the environment and infrastructural improvement will continue to help this increasing growth rate.
ADB country director Monmohon Prakash said that Bangladesh should build long term industrial base, diversified export goods, improvement of private enterprises, to increase tax, to increase revenue through equal distribution of wealth and development of human resources to maintain this growth rate.
He said, according to Vision of Bangladesh attaching importance towards big economy for long term development, strong credit management, to make the banking sector strong, remove the infrastructural limitations and to minimize the business entrepreneurship is important.
