No permission to stage dramas-write up on Bangabandhu

Dhaka,(Barta24.com): Bangabandhu Memorial Trust in a meeting held on Saturday(April 6) has taken a decision that henceforth no prior permission will be required to write dramas on the life and works of Bangabndhu or staging dramas or arranging sports.

The meeting held in the evening at Bangabandhu Bhavan was presided over by the chairperson, Bangabndhu’s eldest daughter and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

At the very start of the meeting a condolence resolution was taken on the death of Trust treasurer M.A. Rafiq. In the meeting all the social welfare oriented activities were reviewed. It was decided in the meeting that all projects of the Trust shall be geared up. In the meeting it was further decided that the martyrs of Bangabandhu’s family killed on August 15 along with Bangabandhu, 13 institutions will be named after their names in their honor. Approval of Taka 50200.00 was given as education stipend.

In the meeting reports of various sub-committees were presented and the meeting also reviewed the progress of the earlier decisions of the meeting.

Among others the meeting was attended by Law, Justice and parliamentary affairs Minister Advocate Anisul Haque, Bangabandhu’s grandson Redwan Mujib Siddiky Boby, Sheikh Helaluddin MP, Nur- e -Alom Chowdhury Liton, Trust member secretary Sheikh Hafijur Rahman and Trust members.
