Dhaka, (Barta24.com): DSCC Mayor Mohammad Sayed Khokon has announced that the newly added wards will be model towns ensuring all modern city facilities to the citizens.
He said that, it will take time to develop it into a modern city. This is our long time plan. For the new generation we want to see it as a modern city.
He was speaking with the councilors of the newly added 18 wards of DSCC on Monday(April 8) at the bank floor of DSCC.
Mayor said that we have crises of manpower. Often the bureaucratic tangles become barrier to development. I would request all to come forward avoiding the bureaucratic complexities. The bureaucrats are hereby requested to ease the systems of their practice, he said.
Sayed Khokon informed that we are working with 40 percent man power. We could not overcome the manpower crises during last four years, he lamented.
