Dhaka, (Barta24.com): Food Ministry parliamentary standing committee chairman Mohammad Nasim MP termed the food adulterators as more dangerous than the arson terrorists.
On Wednesday(April 10)while briefing the journalists at the media center of Jatiyo Sangsad after the standing committee body meeting he told this. At that time Food Minister Sadhan Chandra Majumdar MP, committee members Nurul Islam Nahid MP, Atiur Rahman MP and others were present.
Former Minister Mohammad Nasim said that they have committed unpardonable offence by adulteration of food items. We have achieved self sufficiency in food. Now why we will fail to ensure safe food? The anti-adulteration drive will be geared up further.
He also called upon the businessmen not to increase the prices of the essential food items in the month of Ramadan. He also castigated the adulterators as the killers of their own kith and kins.
