Biman to resume Delhi route

Dhaka,(Barta24.com): Biman Bangladesh Airlines will resume their Dhaka-Delhi-Dhaka service after a gap of 4.6 years. Due to heavy loss the Biman authority closed this route. After that, only the Jet Air of India used to fly in this route. As the Jet Air has shut down their services very recently Biman is going to take up the route.

Primarily the national flag carrier will fly on three days Monday, Thursday and Saturday every week with its 162 seated Boeing 737-800 carrier directly.

The flight will leave Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the afternoon of 3 P.M. local time and reached at Indira Gandhi International Airport at local time 5.20 P.M. IST. Again it will leave Delhi at local 6.20 IST reaching Dhaka at 9.20 P.M. BST.
The price of Dhaka-Delhi-Dhaka return ticket of one month duration will be 300 USD in the economy class and for one year duration the ticket price has been fixed at 320 USD.

General Manager of Biman Shakil Meraz informed that after much awaited resumption of this route the management of Biman has announced an inaugural rebate of 15 percent. Those who will purchase the ticket within May 30, 2019 they will get this rebate.
It is to be mentioned here that among all local and foreign air operators Biman is the only air liner who will alone going to operate in this route.
