Dhaka,(Barta24.com): The Rana Plaza victims have become very much annoyed with the NGOs for capitalizing their emotions and sufferings thereby misusing the fund brought from foreign donors. They accuse them that the donations instead of giving them, the NGOs used the money elsewhere but widely made false publicity in the media and other social media also.

It may be mentioned here that on April 24, 2013 in the collapse of Rana Plaza at Savar about 1136 labors were killed and more than 2000 were wounded. Of the total wounded 51 percent is still yet to back to work, as told by Action Aid, Bangladesh. Rana Plaza Survivors Association accused that the NGOs are doing their own business capitalizing the sickness of these disabled labors.

One injured labor Rima told Barta24.com that once one NGO gave her 5 kilograms rice but that NGO made publicity in the Face Book of giving me 25 kgs rice. Besides, many have written in Face Book about giving Taka 5 thousand while practically they gave Taka

one thousand.  Many NGOs are playing fraud with us on many occasions. It gives us much pain as we are already in distress.

President of Rana Plaza Survivors Association Mahmudul Hassan told Barta24.com that the NGOs have played many fouls so that the wounded labors cannot be united. They have brought many foreign donations but they did not give those to the sufferers. They gave somebody one cow and sent them to villages where the cow died. After taking video and pictures of the wounded they sold those abroad. On one hand the NGOs did business as well as some labor leader made their fortune over night.

But denying this allegation of the survivors association, labor organization Awaj Foundation director and labor leader Nazma Aktar told Barta24.com that I don’t know that if any body has done business with the victims of Rana Palza tragedy. The government should investigate the matter of corruption about the Rana Plaza victims’ woes and their allegations if it had happened at all.
