Dhaka: The Meteorological department of Bangladesh has confirmed that cyclonic storm Fani will hit Bangladesh with the velocity of 140 to 150 kilometers speed per hour. Director of Meteorology Shamsuddin Ahmed informed that however the speed will be around 80 to 90 kms.
Due to the imminent hit of Fani the Mongla and Payra Ports were instructed to hoist danger signal no. 7 while Chattogram sea port to hoist danger signal no. 6 and Cox’s Bazar sea port local warning signal no.4
