Dhaka: A view exchange meeting on road crash was held on Sunday(May 5) in the back ground of rising number of road accidents across the country.

In the meeting held at National Press Club former minister and executive president of Bangladesh Sarak Paribahan Sramik Federation Shajahan Khan has claimed that in no country of the world the drivers do not flee immediate after the accident. So the organizations doing research in this field can unearth the cause of such situation.

Shajahan Khan said that research on this matter is very urgent. Because he pointed out the difference between the police report and the BUET accident research submitted reports on MIshuk- Munir road crash. The two reports were different, he mentioned.

Regarding road crash only the bus drivers should not be blamed alone rather after proper investigation measures should be taken, he said. For causing accidents only the drivers are not responsible but the passengers and the design of roads cannot be ignored, he claimed. Accident can occur for many reasons, he said. So the cases of accident should be properly investigated, he advised.

You must take the road management, driver, worker and administration into consideration collectively.
