Prime Minister takes follow up treatment in Dhaka

Before taking up state visit to three countries Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina took follow up treatment in the capital. For examining her eyes she on Monday(May 27)went to Deen Mohammad Nurul Haque Eye Hospital and Research center located on Dhanmondi Road no. 27.

The deputy Press Secretary of the Prime Minister Ashraful Alam Khokon informed this. After the treatment a group photo of the Prime Minister with the attending doctors was released in the social media.

Earlier the Prime Minister took her eye treatment at Sher- e- Bangla Nagar National Eye Institute and Hospital after taking an out door ticket worth Taka 10/-. On that day the physicians suggested for better eye treatment abroad. Accordingly the Prime Minister went to London on May 1 for ten day State visit to UK and took treatment of her eye. Cataract was operated upon there from the eye of the Prime Minister.

Next after three weeks the PM went to internationally reputed eye specialist Professor Dr. Deen Mohammad.

It is learnt that a specialist team consisting of Additional Director General of Health Directorate Professor Dr. Enayet Hossain, Professor Dr. Shaikh Mohammad Hossain and Dr. Nuzhat Chowdhury led by Professor Dr. Deen Mohammad examined the glaucoma of PM’s eye. After examination they gave prescriptions and suggested to change her spectacles.
