The transfer order of the Deputy Director(DD)of Dhaka Divisional office of the National Consumers Rights Protection directorate has been stayed by the Public Administration Ministry.
It was confirmed by the Additional Secretary (APD) of the Public Administration Ministry Sheikh Yusuf Haroon on Tuesday(June 4).
He said that the transfer order of Monjur Mohammad Shahriyar has been stayed and he will continue in his present post.
Earlier he was issued a transfer order along with stand release directing him to join Khulna zone of Roads and Highways department on or before June 13. The order followed after he fined and ordered the temporary closure of the Uttara outlet of Aarong. The outlet was selling goods in an exorbitant high price of the same thing which they sold six days before. On complaint the DD getting solid proof of the complaint the outlet was fined and temporarily closed.
After his transfer order was issued there was strong agitation in the all social media and Face book.
