Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Dhaka University arranged an EMBA Orientation Program of 2019 Session on 20 June 2019 (Thursday) at the Auditorium of the institute. Chowdhury Nafeez Sarafat, Founder and Chairman, Board of Trustees, Canadian University of Bangladesh (CUB) and Chairman, Board of Directors, Padma Bank graced the program as the Chief Guest. Professor Muhammad Abdul Momen, Acting Director IBA and Dr. Md. Rezaul Kabir, Executive MBA Coordinator were also present at this event.
Chief Guest Chowdhury Nafeez Sarafat inaugurated the program and gave his valuable speech to the EMBA students. He said, EMBA students of the IBA are the future leaders of the country and will direct the business and corporate world. They will get the necessary education and trainings from here to play vital role in country's business.
He also added, with the great leadership of our Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Bangladesh is now in great pace towards development. Our country has already achieved the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). Now we are on the way to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We have become one of the largest exporting countries of the world. By assisting the business and corporate, EMBA graduates can help the country to achieve its goal to be one of the most developed countries of the world.
Along other dignitaries, Dr. Mamoon Al Bashir, Director MBA/EMBA Programs and S.M. Arifuzzaman, Head, Department of Business Adminstration was also present in the ceremony from Canadian University of Bangladesh.
