Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina reached Dalian of Liaolin province at the first leg of her five day official visit to China. Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang extended the invitation to Bangladesh Prime Minister.
A special flight of Bangladesh Biman carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage landed at Jhaushuiji International airport at 12-15 local time. Bangladesh ambassador to China M. Fazlul Karim received the Prime Minister at the airport. Mayor of Dalian city Tan Chenju was present also at this time.
After the reception at the airport the Prime Minister was taken to Hotel Shangri-Li in a motorcade. During her visit to Dalian she will stay in this hotel.
During her visit Prime Minister will attend the annual meeting of World Economic Forum (WEF) and will hold bi-lateral meetings with Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang and President Xi Jinping at Beijing.
On Tuesday the Prime Minister will be taking part in the inaugural session of WEF Annual Summer Devorce conference.
She will meet the founder and Executive President of WEF Clous Scoab at his office. In the afternoon she will take part in the panel discussion of ‘Cooperation in the Pacific Rim’ at Dalian International Conference center.
On Wednesday (July 3) morning Prime Minister will leave Dalian for Beijing in a special chartered flight offered by Chinese government. The flight is scheduled to reach Beijing capital airport at 12 o’clock.
On Thursday (July 4) a reception will be held and the Prime Minister will place floral wreaths at the memorial plaque of the heroes of China in the Great Hall of the People. Afterwards she will hold bi-lateral meeting with Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang and will participate in a function of agreement signing at the Great Hall of the People.
Prime Minister will participate in a dinner arranged by the Chinese Prime Minister in the Great Hall of the People. She will participate in round table meeting with the Chinese businesses at CCPIT in the afternoon of the same day.
On Friday morning (July 5) the Prime Minister is scheduled to deliver a lecture in a function of Chinese Think Tank ‘Pangoal Institution’.
The CEOs of the Chinese companies will meet the Prime Minister at her hotel suit and she will also hold meeting with NPC Li Jhanshu chairman.
In the afternoon she will hold meeting with Chinese President Xi jinping at the state guest house DiyauTiyey. She will also take part in a dinner thrown by the Chinese President at the same place.
The Prime Minister wrapping up her five day China visit will leave for Dhaka on July 6. She will leave the Beijing International airport and expected to reach Shahjalal International airport, Dhaka on the same day at 1-30 P.M.
The Foreign Minister earlier told the journalists during her China visit eight agreements will be signed with Beijing while the Rohingya issue is likely get priority during the meetings with the Chinese leaders.
It may be mentioned here that a special flight of Bangladesh Biman (BG1720) on Monday (july1) left Shahjalal International airport for China at 5-30 afternoon carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage.
