Police Super of Faridpur Md. Zakir Hossain Khan said that in current recruitment process 55 constables were recruited this time from this district in most fair and transparent way.
He was addressing a press conference here on Wednesday (July 10) at the police office meeting room.
Md. Zakir HossainKhan said he is very much confident that there was no anomaly in the recruitment process. Of the 55 five 29 were male while the rest 26 were female. The process included physical fitness, written test and viva voce, Zakir Hossain said. He maintained the various quotas as directed by government. Thirty percent was reserved for the Freedom Fighters, ten percent for the wards of the police department personnel.
He also answered to several queries raised by the local journalists. All the Trainee Recruit Constables (newly recruited) were present in the press conference of whom a number of trainees spoke. It was revealed that most of the recruits belong to poor families who had to spend only Taka 100.00 each as the government fees.
Md. Zakir Hossain Khan disclosed that the selection board consisted with Police Super of Faridpur as chairman and two Additional police supers from Manikganj and Rajbari.
The press conference was also attended among others by Additional Police super of Faridpur Md.Jamal Pasha and Addl. Police super Atiqul Islam.
