A fishing trawler carrying bodies of six fishermen found ashore at Seagull point of Cox’s Bazar sea beach.
Two fishermen were also rescued alive from the trawler.
“We were informed that a fishing boat has washed up ashore after capsizing on early hours of Wednesday.
A Tourist Police team went to the scene immediately and began a rescue operation. Six bodies were recovered and two persons were rescued alive from the trawler, Tourist Police officials at Cox’s Bazar told Barta24.com on Wednesday.
The dead bodies have been sent to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
