Himalaya Airlines, a private airliner of Nepal is going to begin Dhaka- Kathmandu flight from next Monday (July 22). The airliner of Nepal, daughter of Himalaya the highest mountain of the world will operate three flights in a week.
Himalaya airliner is going to start the flight on this route to make the slogan ‘Visit Nepal year 2020.’ In this connection a function has been arranged tomorrow at Nepal embassy in Dhaka on Thursday (July 18). A large number of Bangladeshis usually visit Nepal every year as it is an attractive tourist spot.
This will be sixth route of the private airliner of Nepal. At present national flag carrier of Bangladesh ‘Biman Bangladesh’ airlines operates its flights on all days of the week.
It is learnt from the airliner sources that Himalaya established in 2014 operates its flight by airbus A -320 narrow body airplanes numbering three.
In the airbus A-320 it has 150 economy class seats and 8 premium economy class seats. The first flight will leave Dhaka Hazrat Shahjalal International airport at 11-10 A.M. on next Monday.
The passengers of economy class will be allowed to carry 20 kilograms’ baggage free while the passengers of premium class economy will be allowed to carry 25 kgs. baggage free.
