Untold sufferings of mother Nabila caused by Dengue

Dhaka: Six months old Nadia is repeatedly looking at her mother Nabila from the lap of her father. Father Wali Ahmed has also become tired as he could not manage his small kid who became impatient as could not go her mother. Mother Nabila is similarly having mental worry as she cannot take her in the lap.

Hapless mother Nabila has developed severe pain throughout her whole body due to dengue in last four days. Nabila cannot move her hands and legs so failing to capture her kid in the lap.

It is learnt from Wali Ahmed that they live in Jatrabari of the capital. After being attacked by dengue fever four days back Nabila was admitted to Central hospital at Green Road. As there was no seat in the Ward, she was laying at a bed outside the emergency room.

During talks Wali Ahmed told that they were very much cautious keeping clear their house free from any wastes and dirt despite that precautionary measures his wife is to suffer by dengue due to Aedes bite. Might be Aedes came from other nearby places, he said.

Expressing her resentment against the Mosquito elimination team of the City Corporation Nabila said that had they work properly then did it happen? The Mosquito elimination team did not visit their area for even a single day. Due to their negligence I am now here at hospital bed in such wretched condition. Due to severe pain in my hands and legs I cannot take my daughter in my lap.

On Thursday (July 25) the admitted dengue patients at Dhaka Medical College(DMC) hospital and Dhaka Central hospital expressed their strong resentment against the activities of City Corporation’s inactive program of mosquito elimination in the corporation area.

On the other hand it is learnt from the sources of DNCC and DSCC that they are doing their best to tackle dengue fever. They are eliminating Aedes going house to house. They are giving the city dwellers advices regarding dengue and not to panic.

Md. Sujan told barta24.com now admitted at DMC hospital for dengue fever that every day the two mayors of the corporations are telling blatant lies to the media regarding their activities to tackle dengue. In fact they are doing nothing in controlling Aedes and dengue. Had their statement of killing Aedes by going house to house have been true then I would not be at this hospital bed with such untold sufferings.

Sohel Mia, father of 11 year old Mahima now under treatment at DMC hospital told bartatwentyfour.com that he lives at block-B of Mirpur-10. The men of the Councilor of my area have given a mosquito killing machine in a tea stall under my residence. That tea stall owner occasionally sprays medicine according to his will. Sarcastically the two mayors are talking to the media at the highest of their voice that they are doing and doing work to tackle dengue. As they failed to take any effective step, my daughter is now suffering at the hospital bed.
