A Barguna court has rejected a petition seeking bail for Aysha Siddika Minni in the case over the daylight murder of her husband Refat Sharif in Barguna.

Minni is the key witness of the murder that took place in front of Barguna Govt College on June 26 in broad daylight.

Judge Asaduzzaman of Barguna District and Sessions Judge’s Court passed the order after hearing of the petition for four hours starting from 11am, defence lawyer Advocate Mahbubul Bari Aslam told our Jhalokathi correspondent.
