Bangladesh Bank has directed bank representatives to take measures in helping poor patients ailing with dengue fever.
The central bank issued a circular to all private and public banks on Wednesday concerning recent outbreak of dengue fever throughout the country.
The recent circular suggested bank representatives to identify helpless, poor patients suffering from dengue fever and also help them by providing dengue test fees, necessary medicines, mosquito nets and foods.
Bangladesh Bank called bank authorities to take proper actions as per their Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) guidelines.
