A Dhaka court has sentenced three people to death and seven others to life term imprisonment for killing a man in 2011.
Speedy Trial Tribunal-4 Judge Abdur Rahman Sardar pronounced the verdict on Thursday.
The death raw convicts are Rahim alias Arif, Jiku and Abu Bakar Siddik alias Tiger.
A per the court order, Monti, Md. Milon, Akash alias Russel, Forhad Hossain alias Farhad, Sajib Ahmed Khan, Shahid Chan Khadem and Mohammad Ali Howladar Babu.
Among the convicts, Mohammad Ali Howladar Babu arrested and others still on run.
According to the court verdict, the convicts stabbed Rajab to death around 9pm on July 24 at Nawabpur area under Kotwali Police Station at Dhaka in 2011.
Later, Rajab’s brother lodged a murder case at Kotwali Police Station.
