Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud, who took up a part-time teaching profession at Jahangirnagar University (JU) since last September, will start taking classes at Dhaka University.
The minister will take classes on Evolution and Earth's Biosphere course of Honours final year in the department of oceanography.
Hasan, who obtained PhD in Chemistry from Limburg University, Belgium, will begin teaching at the invitation of the university authorities on August 4.
Mir Akram Uddin Ahmed, senior information officer of Information Ministry, disclosed this matter in a press release on Saturday.
Mahmud had been teaching a course named ‘Climate Change’ at Jahangirnagar University since September last year.
Before that, the minister was a teacher at East West University and North South University. He completed post-graduation in Chemistry from Chittagong University.
