Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Sayeed khokon has advised Dhaka residents to wear long sleeve dresses in avoiding mosquito bites.
The Mayor made advises while providing anti-mosquito spray, insecticides at an event in the capital on Sunday.
Sayeed khokon emphsised on changing regular habits to lessen threats of mosquito related diseases.
He said: “We can avoid mosquito related diseases by changing regular habits like wearing long sleeve dresses in both home and outside. Some small but important initiatives can play effective role to inhibit such diseases.”
“It is possible to control dengue outbreak in the capital if we change our regular lifestyle,” he added.
The mayor also talked on initiatives of DSCC to control dengue outbreak and thanked city dwellers for their role in community preparedness.
