On Sunday (August 4) at 12-30 noon in a press release signed by Liberation War and Freedom Fighters affairs secretary of DUCSU Saad bin Kader Chowdhury the program was announced.

In the press release it has been said that on August 15 morning of 1975 a group of misdirected army members attacked the residence of Bangabandhu at Dhanmondi Road no. 32. The attackers killed the then President of the Peoples’ Republic of Bangladesh and the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family members.

In this heinous murder case, the five convicts including Faruk Rahman and Mahiuddin Ahemd was executed on January 28 of 2010. The other seven death sentence convicts are still hiding abroad. One of the convicts Abdul Aziz Pasha died in Zimbabwe while on run.
