The ambassador while talking with the Mayor of MCC Md. Ikramul Haque Tito at his office in a courtesy visit to MCC expressed this. During their meeting the matters of future development and procedure of implementation were also discussed.
A source of MCC informed that Peter Farhenholltz also praised the various development efforts of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The ambassador also expressed his firm expectation that if this trend of development continues then Bangladesh will soon be a developed state.
Later on in the evening a cultural function was arranged in honor of the ambassador and his entourage at the Advocate Tareque Memorial auditorium in the city. The function was attended by high officials, political leaders, MCC councilors and elite of the city.
