Curtain falls on International Media Conference in Udaipur

Curtain on the All India International Media Conference (AIMC) -2019 fell on Sunday (Sept.29) here at Udaipur, known as the Lake city during the melodious weather created by the drizzling for two days.

The congregation of the famed media personalities ended with a call to increase the skill in the new phase of journalism. This is famous for all Indian global media conference. There was a call from this conference to face the digital challenge and also to giving stress on international level mass media in research work.

The wrap up session began at 10-30 A.M. at M .L Shukhdia University auditorium. There were photo sessions, distribution of certificates and farewell speeches. The auditorium was looking vacant when the guests started saying good-bye to the three day function. Of the nine papers of Bangladesh two papers achieved best awards. The honor went to Dr. Shamim Reza, a teacher in the Journalism of Dhaka University and also TV personality while another honor went to Chattogram University Journalism department chairman Abul Kalam Azad.

On the other hand Rajib Nandi, Assistant Professor of Communication and Journalism of Chattogram University won the memento for organizational capability in increasing the bi-lateral relation of Bangladesh- India who is also a researcher of Indo-Bangla affairs.

In this conference a 600 page magazine was published containing good number of research papers written by the participants coming from various countries beside India.

In the closing session Conference Chairman Sree Kalyan Shing Kothari said that he is grateful to all who had given their labor in arranging this epoch making event. He is also ready to hold another conference in near future. He is proud to arrange this conference at Rajasthan for the second time which was attended by the mass media, communication, journalism, film related researchers which he had expected.

However the Co-Chairman of the Conference Pro-VC of Adamas University Dr. Ujjal K Chowdhury informed in future the volume of this conference can be expanded with the people of Bangladesh and West Bengal and proposed to host at Kolkata.

The Bangladesh delegation chief Professor Dr. Golam Rahman said that Bangladesh also can host this type of conference because Bangladesh have the capabilities to host such gala event. If the size of such conference is increased then the image of South Asia will enhance globally.

Program Manager of South Asia Center for Media in Development (SACMD) Syed Kamrul Hassan also joined this conference. He is a sound media researcher. He laid stress on literacy. He told brtatwentyfour.com that this conference is positive for Bangladesh.

He expected more initiative from the both private and public universities in promoting media literacy program.

Organizing Secretary of the conference Professor Kunjan Achariya said that this conference will be a mile stone in the Indian mass media research. A number of crisis and possibilities of a number of provinces of Indian Union were depicted in this conference along with solution.
