Dhaka: Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (Rab)- 1 has been carrying on raids at the P24 Gaming office of Selim Pradhan at Gulshan on charge of conducting on line casino and money laundering by detained Selim Paradhan. During raid so far the members of the elite force recovered Malaysian Ringgit, US dollar and various equipments for conducting on line casino.
Media Wing Assistant Director at Rab headquarter Mizanur Rahman has confirmed barta24.com about this. He said that huge foreign currency and also drugs were recovered from Selim Pradahan's office.
The Rab spokesman said that, now the raid has been going on at his residence after office based on his information. After the end of raid the media will be informed in details accordingly.
Rab started the raid on Monday (September 30) night on the fourth floor of 'Momtaz Vision' tower at Road no. 99 of Gulshan -2.
Earlier Selim Pradhan was disembarked by Rab from a Bangkok bound Thai airways aircraft at Hazrat Shahjalal International airport. Next on the basis of his information Rab has been conducting raids at his office and residence on charge of carrying casino P24 online gaming.
