The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) is conducting a raid on a Banani residence of online gambling operator Salim Prodhan, officials of the crime-busting agency said.
Media Wing Assistant Director of RAB headquarters Mizanur Rahman Tuesday (Oct 1) noon said, “The drive began at Banani residence of Salim at House-22 on Road-2 around 1:45pm.”
The elite force is also conducting raids on Salim’s office at Gulshan and another residence in the city.
RAB arrested Salim, who was operating an online gaming platform, ahead of his flight to Bangkok on Monday afternoon.
