A human-chain programme and a peace rally will be held in capital Dhaka on Wednesday (Oct 2) to celebrate the birth sesquicentennial of Mahatma Gandhi.
Mahatma Gandhi Smarak Sadan, Bangladesh will arrange the programme at 4pm in front of the National Museum at Shahbagh.
Renowned intellectual and writer, who is the chairman of the Sadan, will preside over the event, which will be attended by representatives from different organisations and university students.
