Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has phoned Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and exchanged pleasantries with her. He also inquired about her recent eye treatment in London.
A press release undersigned by Prime Minister’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said the Pakistani called Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday (Oct 2) afternoon.
The press secretary said Sheikh Hasina thanked Imran Khan for inquiring about her eye condition.
The Pakistani Prime Minister made the phone call to Sheikh Hasina just a day before the commencement of her four-day official visit to India.
Sheikh Hasina is flying to New Delhi Thursday (Oct 3) for the visit at the invitation of her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.
