Three persons, including a woman, were killed and ten more injured in a road accident on Dhaka-Khulna highway at Nagardiya under Char Jashordi union in Nagarkanda Upazila of Faridpur district in Monday night.
Of the deceased, two were identified as Firoza Begum, 36, and Liton Sheikh, 35. The identity of the other victim couldn’t be known.
OC Ataur Rahman of Bhanga Highway Police said the accident occurred around 12am as the bus hit a roadside tree.
The injured were taken to Bhanga Upazila Health Complex and Faridpur Medical College Hospital.
