Referring to the killing of BUET student Abrar Fahad, BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has said all the educational institutes across the country are held hostage by Chhatra league.
Rizvi was talking in a press conference held at the party office at 1pm on Tuesday.
He said by killing an innocent and meritorious student like Abrar Chhatra League has proved there is no security of the commons students in any campus in this country.
The BNP leader alleged one of perpetrators was not included the list of accused in the case filed for the incident.
The BUET administration is trying to protect that perpetrator who runs the torture cell in room no-2012 in Sher-e-bangla hall where Abrar was killed, Rizvi said.
Addressing to the government, Rizvi said the country's soil, water and resource would go to the hand of foreign powers. And whoever criticizes this would be killed. This is the policy of this government.
He said as long as the government is in power, they will continue to kill the opposition leaders and activists.
