Chhatra League Acting president Al-Nahian Khan Joy said they can never agree on any ban on student politics.
He was speaking at a press conference on Wednesday.
He said, "We extend our solidarity with the demands of BUET students. But as the representatives of the largest political organization of students, we can never say that the student politics should be banned."
The acting president said, "After the crime that took place in BUET, organizational action has been taken against those in our organization who were involved. Legal actions are also underway. Criminals will have no place in this organization.”
