BUET Vice-Chancellor Professor Saiful Islam couldn't visit slain Abrar Fahad's home in face of resistance by the locals.
After offering prayer for Abrar at his grave in Raidanga village under Kaya Union in Kumarakhali Upazila of Kushtia on around 4:30 pm Wednesday, accompanied by local Awami League leaders, he was heading to Abrar's home.
The locals barred him on his way.
At that time, members of the law enforcers had a scuffle with the locals.
The VC was forced to go back to Dhaka, seeing the situation there.
