The Anti-Corruption Commission has prosecuted business tycoon Moosa Bin Shamsher for money laundering and withholding information in the wealth statement he had submitted to the anti-graft watchdog.
Deputy Director of ACC’s Public Relations Department Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told Barta24.com that the Commission started a case against Moosa on Thursday (Oct 17).
The ACC had asked Moosa to submit the details of his assets suspecting he amassed wealth beyond his known sources of income.
Sources at the anti-graft body said Moosa was sued as he withheld information in his wealth statement and there are some specific allegations of money laundering against him.
