‘There will be no impact of NRC in Bangladesh’- JP chairman GM Kader

Jatiyo Party (JP) Chairman and deputy leader of the Opposition party GM Kader claimed that there will be no influence of National Registration of Citizens(NRC) in Assam in Bangladesh.

He said that we have noticed that so long no impact of NRC was felt in Bangladesh so we are confident that there will be no impact.

On Monday (Nov. 4) in a reception held at hotel White House organized by Saarc Cultural Society GM Kader told all these.

GM Kader said that regarding NRC in Assam the Indian foreign ministry assured Bangladesh not to worry. There will be no adverse impact on Bangladesh. Our Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has also assured us about the matter.

He further said that the bilateral relation between Bangladesh and India is very much friendly. If this relation is maintained then Bangladesh will be benefited. There is a cultural and lingual affinity of Bangladesh with a number of provinces of India. With the sincere endeavors of Bangladesh the border terrorism has beeneliminated.

As special guest in the meeting the Speaker of Tripura Legislative Assembly Sree Rebati Mohon Das said that 80 percent border of Tripura is with Bangladesh. Tripura always got Bangladesh as a friend. To strengthen the friendly relation Tripura is always ready.

Chairman of Saarc Cultural Society Syed Abu Hossain Babla chaired the meeting while it was addressed among other by Presidium member Sunil Shuva Roy.
