A case has been filed against Prothom Alo Editor Matiur Rahman over the death of a student of Dhaka Residential Model School and College at a function the daily organised on the institution’s campus.
Mujibur Rahman, father of victim Naimul Abrar, lodged the case with the court of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Aminul Haque on Wednesday (Nov 6).
Ninth grader Naimul was electrocuted at the programme organised to mark the founding anniversary of the Khishor Alo magazine of Prothom Alo on Nov 1.
