The schedule examinations of Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) to be held on Saturday (Nov.9) have been suspended for cyclone ‘Bulbul’. The suspended JSC examinations will be held on Nov. 12 [Tuesday] while of JDC will be held on Nov.14 [Thursday.]
PRO of the Ministry of Education MA Khair has confirmed it to barta24.com on Friday (Nov.8).
All examinations of National University have also been suspended. The dates of those examinations will be informed later on, the PRO said.
Seven districts of the country have been identified as ‘risky’ for cyclone ‘Bulbul’. The districts are Khulna, Satkhira, Bagerhat, Barguna, Pirojpur, Patuakhali and Bhola.
The Met office said that the powerful cyclone originated in the Bay of Bengal is rushing towards the Southern coast at a high speed and may make a landfall with a speed of 140 KPH.
