State Minister for Disaster Management & Relief Md. Enamur Rahman has called upon the coastal people to take shelters in the shelter centers by 2 pm of Saturday (Nov.9) to avoid losses.
He was talking to the journalists on Saturday (Nov.9) after holding a meeting about the details of possible impact of cyclone ‘Bulbul’, readiness to response to the storm and also rescue operations.
The State minister said that there are enough shelter centers in the coastal belts which are within maximum one kilometer of the possible hitting area of the storm ‘Bulbul’. So, everyone should take shelter there immediately.
The meeting chaired by the State Minister was attended by Standing Committee president of the ministry AB Tajul Islam MP, Principal Secretary of PMO Md. Nazibur Rahman, Cabinet Secretary Khondoker Anowarul Islam and secretaries of other concerned ministries.
